MOWING BID NOTICE
Mowing Bid Instructions:
Bids will be sealed and marked MOWING BID on front of envelope. Turned into the Town of Dix Clerk by 5:00pm on 4/10/25. Bids will be opened on 4/14/25 at the normally scheduled Town Board meeting at 6:30pm. The Town reserves the right to accept and or reject any bid. Pricing should be broken down per property.
Please bid on all or any part of the below properties.
What:
Seasonal Mowing of the below properties. Mowing includes cutting of all grass, weed eating around objects, cleaning up any sticks that might have fallen between mowing, sweep clippings off of sidewalks or tombstones, and ensuring that grass is not on anything that it should not be on.

Moreland Cemetery (Catlin Hill Rd before Pearl St), 1.35 acres
Townsend Cemetery (Townsend Rd before Vanzandt Hollow Rd), 0.82 acres
Town Hall (2266 CR 17 Watkins Glen), 1 acre
Old Town Hall (704 7th Street), small grass strip near sidewalk
The Town of Dix is looking for two more people to be on the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Town of Dix Seasonal Road Closings Notice
The following roads will be closed from December 1 to April 1:
Duval, Cross and Old Joe.

For the year 2025, the Town of Dix is contracted with
Southern Tier Animal Control (STAC)
for dog sheltering services.
If your dog is picked up by a Schuyler County Officer in 2025, you can redeem your dog at:
